Privacy policy

Onilab is a team of certified developers creating a whole spectrum of web apps and extensions as well as providing technical support. We supply our services in the European Union, Australia, the UK, and the US. In accordance with the EU GDPR act, which came into force on May 25, 2018, we are a data processor.

Which data do we collect, and why?

During the development and support of your project, as well as integration with third-party services, we can request access to your profiles in these systems. We also collect clients’ information for processing orders, creating reports on the project status further sent by email, and ensuring full service throughout our cooperation.

We use this information exclusively within our agreement. When ordering our services, the following information is collected: names and surnames, email addresses, payment details, and company information, such as a company name and taxpayer number. It is supposed that this information is included in the contract, invoices, credit memos, and other legal documents. This information is kept for legal reasons.

How long do we store the information?

We retain your personal information (for example, name and email address) as long as you use our services or extensions. This gives you priority to download free updates and contact us for support.

We keep your company's payment details for 10 years, as required by tax laws. If you want your personal information to be deleted, updated, or changed, contact us.

User Data in Advertising

Our website uses visitor data for advertising and remarketing purposes on Google Ads and Meta. This data includes IP addresses, browser types, and locations. We also use cookies to track users’ browsing activity on our website.

Google Ads and Remarketing

We use Google Ads for advertising our services on Google, YouTube, and the Display Network websites partnering with Google. We gather data of users who visit our website to identify potential customer segments, adjust our advertising and remarketing/retargeting campaigns, and show ads to the most relevant audience.

Google Ads uses cookies to track your browsing activity on our and other websites. This information is also utilized to outline user groups with more likelihood of being interested in our software development services.

In case of remarketing, users who previously visited our website may see our banner ads on Google products (Gmail, YouTube) and other websites within Google’s advertising network.

Users may see our ads without previously visiting the Onilab webpages as well. In this case, Google Ads displays banners based on users’ interests, demographics, and other criteria matching our customer segments.

Meta Advertising and Remarketing

On Meta (specifically Facebook) we also implement remarketing and direct ads using platform’s advertising tools to reach new audiences.

Please note that in both Google Ads and Meta advertising, user data is handled in accordance with our strict privacy standards. This data is used exclusively for improving the relevance and quality of our ads.

We may also use other advertising platforms in the future. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect our use of those platforms.

Cookies

Cookies are text files placed in the browser of your computer to collect standard log data and insights on visitor behavior. This information is used to monitor how the users interact with the website and compile statistical reports about the activity on the website. Cookies are also used to process the same visitor's session when viewing pages on a website.

Remember that third-party websites, including Google, also utilize cookies. If you want to opt out of Google's use of cookies, go to Google's Ads Settings. If you do not want your cookies to be processed, you can set your browser to delete cookies from the browser's log. For more information, visit https://www.aboutcookies.org.
